Tek-Esin Foundation takes its name from Müfide and Ferit Tek, and Emel and Seyfullah Esin, who had various roles in the history of 20th Century Turkey. These four individuals represent both Ottomans and Republic of Turkey and culture of Turkish world in a versatile way. Versatility showed itself not only in Turkish culture before Islam but also in literature, politics and diplomacy. Within this framework, interdisciplinary studies researching Turkish culture with an integrated approach, as well as works reflecting such versatility are published by Tek-Esin Foundation.
