Tek-Esin Vakfı’nın TEK‐ESİN Foundation was established in 1988 by bequest of Emel Esin in 1987 and became operational in 1990.
The primary purpose of the Foundation as outlined by Emel Esin is to open the archive and library on Central Asia Turkish History of Art to the use of researchers under the name of Dr. Emel Esin Library and the Foundation aims to fulfill the following:

Researching sources of Turkish culture and art, exploration and publishing of relevant data
Ensuring maintenance and reparation of Sadullah Pasha Mansion, which is an example of the 18th century Ottoman civil architecture, in line with contemporary principles, and transferring the building to new generations
The foundation aims to gradually enrich its activities in line with these purposes.
PUBLICATIONS
Tek-Esin Foundation is named after Müfide and Ferit Tek as well as Emel and Seyfullah Esin, who played different roles in the history of Turkey in 20th Century. The writings and works of the founders represent both Ottoman and Turkish Republic and the culture of the Turkish world in a versatile way.
Tek-Esin publications are listed in the attachment in chronological order between 1993 and 2008.
