Seyfullah Esin was born in 1902 in Thessaloniki and died in 1982 in Istanbul.

Seyfullah Esin was Ambassador of Turkey.

He graduated from Political Sciences Faculty of   Berlin University. He served as Ambassador to Israel (1950-1952), Austria (1952-1954), USSR (1954-1955), West Germany (1955-1957), as permanent representative to United Nations (1957-1960), as Ambassador to Egypt (1960-1961), India (1962-1965) and Spain (1965 – 1967) and he got retired due to age.

He is the spouse of Art Historian Emel Esin and  son-in-law of former Minister of Interior Ahmet Ferit Tek.
